UNIQLO: Opens its First Roadside Store in Malaysia, Three-Day Special Offers to Celebrate

FINALLY OPEN!!! And Malaysians really swamped that place! Was at the new store earlier on for the media preview and we gotta say, we LOVE IT!



UNIQLO DA Square, the Japanese apparel retailer’s first roadside store in Malaysia opens at 10am today to customers waiting eagerly in line to enter. The new store, located at Bandar Sri Damansara, is celebrating its opening with a three-day period of special offers to welcome the first customers. From December 18-20, the first 500 customers to enter the store each day will receive a goodie bag, and every customer who makes a purchase of RM200 or more in a single transaction will receive a UNIQLO U tote bag.

Yuki Yamada, CEO of UNIQLO Malaysia and Singapore remarked, “The 15,100 square feet DA Square store is carefully designed to ensure enough space and accessibility for all, including families with children, elderly people and people with disability. With its open and roomy interior, the store offers a refreshing shopping experience for customers. Even customers who are familiar with UNIQLO products can quickly locate what they want, with a full-range display of each product category and well-planned, easy-to-cruise sections of the shopping floor”.

 

Malaysia is the fifth country outside Japan and the third in Southeast Asia to open a roadside type store, and follows successful launches in South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines. UNIQLO roadside stores are strategically located to serve as close-to-home stores for customers in nearby townships, giving locals the chance to enjoy a quick and convenient trip to UNIQLO.



 

Some highlights and features of UNIQLO DA Square include:


> The only store to carry the full range of AIRism beddings;


> The second store (after UNIQLO Fahrenheit 88) to feature UTme! corner, which offers sticker design customization and printing service for T-shirt and tote bag!


> Sustainability Corner to advocate making of clothing sustainably and educate customers on how they can join hands with UNIQLO to contribute to a more sustainable society by participating in its recycling initiative; and


> Full range display of each product category, such as AIRism beddings, men’s & women’s innerwear, maternity, baby and kids wear, and bags, shoes and socks!

UNIQLO DA Square operating hours are from 10am to 10pm daily. Same-level parking is available for customers outside the store building, including spaces for people with disabilities.

    Did you notice the pylon sign board of Uniqlo? It really stands out from far and definitely one of the best marketing tool for them. I have visited this roadside store and it is HUGE!

    It also requires specifically manufactured towing gear, which includes a tow bar, trailing-wire harnesses, safety chains, winches and hitches. towing st. louis
